Wow! This may just be a normal list for some people, but for beginners like me, it would definitely be a dream come true watching skateboarding comebacks by Brian Lotti and Tim Gavin!!

I skated with Pat Brennan a few times back in the day. He was at my house skating my mini-ramp with me the day I broke my arm. I went inside so my dad could take me to the hospital and Pat and the rest of the crew went out front to say good-bye to me as I left.

The thing is, I didn't leave. My dad had just started finishing the wood floor in our house and refused to take me to the hospital until he was finished so that there wouldn't be a line on the floor where he had stopped putting on finish and then started again.

Before you think my dad is a cruel man, you should know I had broken my arms twice previously and this was by no means the worst break (I had one that was compound, meaning it popped through the skin). He knew it wouldn't hurt me to wait for 45 minutes.

Anyway, I saw Pat a while later and he told me that he and the other guys had waited out front and when I didn't come out they figured my family was part of some weird religious cult that didn't believe in going to the hospital.

I'm not sure it helped anything when I told him what had really happened.
