Been wearing dickies since 1987 then switched to carhartt for years until about a year ago.
Carhartt products have diminished in quality but not in price. Too many of their items are made in asia.

Dickies on the other hand produces in mexico and other latin countries. Products from latin america are head over heels better than asian products….me…just a white dude from nyc.

I am now back to dickies and riggs workwear…berne is great for outwear and dirt cheap..not the hippest logo though.

Walmart has been a godsend to me!!! I love walmart. When you live in nyc you get raped for everything yet walmart has everything for way less and free shipping and now dickies….I f’ing love walmart.

41 years old and still keeping it real…peace out.

By the way..
The ad you are all braggin’ about isn’t even from Dickies but from Wal-Mart.. So better hate on them and think about which brand your first working pants were in the early 90ies

Dickies is a good brand, I just would rather see them paying attention to the skate culture and not their corporate intentions of making money all the time.

I am not that bothered about what people say, I think Dickies Workwear is fantastic value for money has been for years . I dont think people think with there hearts I think with my pocket and my pocklet likes Dickies workwear, I like the Carhartt stuff as well, So long as the price is right I am happy.

Skating since 85: Dude you may have been skating since 85, but you haven’t been to school since then either have you? Great spelling buddy, kind of makes you’re comments sound like ranting from a 9 year old.

We don’t all hate on big corporations, we just hate on the guys trying to exploit. I wear my Nike SB’s and feel fine about it… But I wouldn’t go out and support Dickies based off of this ad. It makes them look like kooks and therefor I don’t wanna give ‘em my money. If you want workwear style go get some Carhartt, they have a sick skate team and good events all supporting skating and local scenes…

i just have to say real fast to all the haters that think nike or dickies are just big corperations out for your money your right but just remember these corperations were started by people human beings just like the ones that started world industrys ,alian workshop and every other skate company in the capitalist scociety we live in people start bussneses to make money not to prove they go against the grain or dont follow the corprate worlds rules i know it seems cool when your twelve and your bigest worry is whos gona drive you to the skatepark after school but the reality is you can be a rebal and go against the grain all you whant but for this to happen you cant just pick and choose what corperations your going to suport and wich ones your going to badmouth so the next time your beging your mom to bring you to mcyd’s on the way home from the skatepark remember your suporting a multimillion doller coperation that make people obese all over the world refuses to do public interviews and is a privatley traded stock that you me our no no regular person could ever own
