Well, all skateboards sort of fade away anyway. Most of them can't be doing what they're doing at the high level forever. PLan B is a very prestigious company, I am sure that they will be able to replace their team with ams. What about Girl? They always had some of the top guys and now a lot of their top guys weren't around back in the day.

Its human nature to always be looking up. Plan B doesnt face any more problems than any other company out there. Skateboarding is already a pretty saturated market, so Plan B needs to just keep with the times, never settle with the team members they have.

I just found your blog by googling 'skateboard blogs,' and plan to book mark it, because I'm obsessing about skating, which I got back into a couple of years ago after a decade of being lathargic.
Anyway, I bought the Lakai DVD and a year later watch it regularly. I thought the Plan B promo clips are good, expecially the huge kickflip to drop Sheckler does. But I'm having a hard time believing companies need to film for three to four years to produce a quality video. To think that the old Plan B produced 'The Questionble' video' in 92 and then 'Virtual Reality' in 93 and both the videos progressed skating. I kind of wonder if they turned into perfectionists with these videos, it seems like nothing is sketchy anymore.
Even if they take longer to make, I hope they still make them.
